I'm so fucking excited for this. If the same or a similar team is on this show from Arrow, then I have complete faith in them. I was skeptical of Grant as Barry, but he pulled it off in the episodes he was featured in during Arrow. This extended trailer (not like I saw the original, anyway) looks amazing.

My roommate watches them both, and there's a BIG difference in the quality between the two shows.

I had to turn The 100 off after about 15 mins when "the hot chick" says the line "Hey Spacewalker, rescue me next." I just thought, nah, not for me. That was after a load of really unsubtle exposition spewed out while they're all about to die. And plotholes filled in with crappy ADR of people shouting things like "That's Octavia Blake, the girl they found hidden in the floor."
I just hate lazy writing lol
Even worse is something like Dawsons Creek, where every character sounds the same, with the same angsty dialogue and existential thoughts. Just not real.

Huh... conflicted now. I thought Arrow looked like shit right from the start, and that only got more concrete the more I heard/read about it. Cemented fully when I tried to watch an episode and give it a chance. (no offense to anyone who likes the show, to each their own and all that but that guy is not Ollie Queen)
This show? Looks kinda awesome. And while my favorite Flash is always gonna be Wally West, Barry is an awesome character. I might have to at least give it a chance and just ignore any appearances by "Arrow" that come up.

In defence of Arrow, the first season is quite a slow burner. But I stuck with it and I just finished the second season (finale aired in US on Wednesday night). It was absolutely amazing and it's definitely one of the best superhero shows ever made, if not among the best on TV right now. I'd encourage anyone to give it a go because it gradually improves and once you get to the second season, the quality is right up there almost every week.
Plus, it's the CW's most watched show right now.

Arrow never interested me because I was never really interested in Ollie anyway, but I'm gonna watch Flash definitely.

I didn't pay any attention to Arrow until recently when I decided to research the series and see if it wold be to my interest. I was almost willing to start watching int until I read their embarrassing interpretation of Dinah Lance/Black Canary.
As for Flash I really enjoyed it, with all the darker and edgier shows out there this one is lighter and doesn't seem to be taken itself too seriously.

Last night's episode was the strongest of the series so far. Captain Cold has been the best villain, he doesn't have any powers and he's not out for revenge, also

I can see why Felicity is a popular character though she tends to flirt with the Mary Sue line quite a bit. I will say her personality is far better suited for this series than Arrow. Also she has insanely good chemistry Barry, which is problematic because he's not even close to having that with Iris and I highly doubt the producers from both series are going to pair them up.

Felicity has more chemistry with Oliver imho. It certainly had me on the edge by the end of season 2 and it's totally my OTP. I prefer Barry and her as really good friends, although I agree that he doesn't have the same chemistry with Iris. She's an all right character, but could easily become The Flash's Laurel if the writing lets her down.

I'm outraged the CW have released promo images of her as the next Black Canary. Sara's actress had so much untapped potential, even though she was so strong already.
Was fantastic! It's quite possibly my most favourite crossover ever. Barry and Oliver play well from each other here and their fight near the end was choreographed so well. Many hilarious things happened, but two things really got me going:

And Felicity having to throw her top off when it was burning from Barry's super speed ... wiiiiith the STAR Labs gang walking in. Yay! But mainly Felicity. She makes everything better.
The final thing here I'll note is that Firestorm is finally here. I like Robbie Amell (cousin of Stephen, who plays Oliver/Arrow) as an actor, so it'll be interesting to see where he takes his character now after the flashback.
And Sandra popping up (Arrow-related) was really odd. Wonder if it's going to be related back to their show.

I've seen clips of them together and I don't see this super duper awesome chemistry that they supposedly have. Sometimes people being opposites really means they just don't work together.
I considered watching the second half of the two-parter but in the end I cannot watch a show that has done such a horrendous job at adapting one of my favorite comic book characters of all time. I don't care if the other sister is gonna be 'Black Canary' now because that has never fucking been the real Black Canary.
