Although I still don't see it possibly happening in the compilation, I think TsengxRufus doesn't irk as much as before. Hell, even the idea of Rufus being gay appeals to me lately I just wish Rufus looked a bit younger than the rest of the Turks (except Elena maybe) because it's correct canon-wise, and it makes him being the uke, as he's always portrayed as in yaoi, more convincing (at least to me)

Pug -- I agree, sometimes I forget how young he's supposed to be. All the Little Rufus fanart kind of surprised me at first, and maybe it shouldn't have. Maybe it's the proto-Lord Vetinari vibe I personally get from him in AC/C that makes me think of him as older than he is.

Also, thanks for the Japanese word-building, I had to go look up 'uke' and wasn't sorry I did. (I'm slowly turning into a yaoi fangirl... writing my first slash fanfic... there's no turning back!)

Shortly after I started working on Soak's (eventually explicit) fic, Fanfiction.net announced it would start enforcing its 'nothing rated above an R equivalent' rule and from what I gather is preparing to purge fics from its site with explicit sex, violence, and someone even mentioned song lyrics/songfics, although I don't know if this is true.

I know some of you post work there, and also read there. I guess I'd recommend backing up any fics you read or write there that might get purged. As an alternative there's http://archiveofourown.org/ , but there seems to be a waiting list to get an account (I won't have one until August). I like http://www.adultfanfiction.net and will most likely be posting/finishing Soak's fic there. Sorry it's taking so long, Soak, real life keeps cockblocking me...

If you're inclined to sign internet petitions, there's one addressing Fanfiction.net's decision here. Personally I'm just heading off to AdultFanfiction.
