Just something about his face makes me like this pic a lot. It's a good mix of "realism" and manga.

The technicality of this one is brilliant, but also it's the first "Reno with his tongue out" pic I've ever liked. I truly hate all the rest of them - I mean of EVERYTHING, official and unofficial This artist managed to make his tongue look real, and the whole tongue thing seems to make sense. Plus I love the fact that he's all dressed (well almost) in Clouds clothes. It really is a proper neener neener.

Again, good techniques overall and the kiss looks mutual (unlike most Japanese fanart with a hint of eroticism, lawl) and it's the kind of yaoi I think an actually gay man might appreciate.

I'm working on it! This week has just been so busy. And then today I got distracted by someone posting lots of lovely Turk porn...

And then I got distracted again by this story - this writer in general - who I'd never come across before, and who writes amazing Reno/Rude but not focussed on the sex. This one, about Turks and being a monster - is just fantastic (gory in places, be warned, and long). It's also heartbreaking. If anyone's read Alan Garner's "Red Shift" about the loss of love, that's the feeling I got from this.

The author, greyout, is a self-proclaimed Rude fanboy.

There seem to be quite a few Rude based fics here. I'm aiming to read the rest tonight! It always amazes me how much there is hidden away on fanfiction.net.

Fifty-three reviews is a lot for a one-shot featuring Rude. She (?) obviously takes her writing seriously: it's really, really written and a pleasure to read. But if it were posted today, it'd be lucky to get ten reviews.

BTW I am also eager to find out what happens next with pregnant Rude and reluctant daddy Reno.
