Dennis Martin, composer of the music for TLoD along with composer Takeo Miratsu, shares the storyboards he had to work with while composing the game's music. Far as I know these storyboards have never been shared with the public before.

Excellent thread, it's one of my favorites though it's a pain to emulate.

The speculation that Rose was meant to stab herself, causing her to bleed, when beginning the Demon's Gate spell makes sense but I haven't yet looked for official confirmation on this.

This sounds accurate. During Doel's death scene his blood drops are similar to the Rose animation. For whatever reason the censors didn't pick up on that but censored the battle animation.
