Ed: also, nobody mentions shit going crazy in the crater, WEAPON waking up, etc? Or the slapfight on top of Sister Ray? The ability to take Barret on a date? Cloud stealing Tifa's panties as a kid? CID SAYING ANYTHING, EVER?

Ed 2: also, change to Wall Market as a whole. HBI is good and all, but who can ever erase the image of Corneo's gyrating from their mind?

I want to nominate the firing of the Cannon at Midgar (the first time, when they're shooting at Diamond WEAPON/ the barrier at the crater). That's still one of the coolest FMV's in the game, to me.

There's a couple more that I'd love to nominate as well, but since we can only choose one, this is it.

Smaddy: he's either really awesome and kewl, a completely foul-mouthed wife-beater, or delivering a rousing speech/being hilarious. Cid = win. He is FFVII's Alan Rickman.

Or at the ending where Cloud is holding Tifa's hand pulling her from the crater and the embrace. That and Cid yelling SHIT! Barret giving the occasional F-bomb in Midgar. Even if it is $#@$@@ We all got the point with what he was saying.

Yeah, the outer space sequence was another I had in mind.

The City of the Ancients is another, maybe that would be a better nominee for "memorable locations" rather than moments.

Another memorable moment- the fortune telling in the Temple of the Ancients. Kinda builds your hopes up, if you don't know what's coming next. And even if you already know, it makes the scene bittersweet.
