I dont think we have to change direction. Just concentrate on aspects of the compilation in the form of articles and features.

http://www.zeldainformer.com/ does this pretty well. On the other hand http://www.zeldauniverse.net/ started covering general nintendo news with the lack of zelda news, and that really annoyed me, so i dont bother with it any more.

I think general ff could really hurt the site. It was made to be a fresh new take on ff fansites, and im a bit scared that it'll just stagnate.

We still need to finish of the OTWTAS, and move some of the DoC Summaries by S&G out of the forums, and into Frontpage topics. I think that there's still some good stuff we can use.

I don't want to see the site drift too far away from FF7, but extra translations are always a good thing. Just make sure we stick to our original goals. That's my vote.

I say, keep it mainly FF7, but it wouldn't hurt to have other mini-features for other FFs, or to post other news. I'd just stick to brief news blurbs if it doesn't pertain to FF7, though.

Also hmm... maybe we could have someone play through each game in order (either timeline wise or release wise) and blog about it? lol

What I've always wanted to do was to have a totally complete script of FF7- including what NPCs say, what the characters say, etc. I've seen tons of scripts claiming to be "complete", but they don't include everything.

This could be a neat project, all the dialogue you can possibly get in FFVII and when it happens (cause NPCs have different dialogue at different times). I think there would be people out there who would get some use out of it too, or just be interested in looking at it.

I wouldn't want to do it for the other games though, for this site anyways... unless it's a smashing success and we get people begging us to.

Well the FFVII Ultimania translations are done. Posted the last bit from the Early Materials just now.

As for what's next...well hito, it's up to you. Would you rather do VIII first, or wait for FFXII?

Translating the ultimanias sounds like a splendid idea, especially given the fact that, as others have pointed out, this place is the only place to really find translations for any of them. I always love finding out new things about the characters and places in one of my favorite franchises, even if there is barely any attention being directed at it by Square-Enix.
