The seams themselves may not be sexy, but this is not what accentuation is about.

How does that look like, or accentuate nipples? How many nipples have you seen that run down the entire length of her torso? Also the top of the seam seems higher than her nipple would, presumably, be

Accentuating is not about looking like something, it is about drawing attention to them / making them more prominent. Look where the seams end! May not be on the nipple, but near them. They just so happen to end higher and more to the centre of where the nipple is likely to be, rather than any other position. How strange. Why would that be, I do wonder? To make 'em appear perky, what else. There is absolutely no other design purpose for those seams.

Going with Avec's form-fitting theory, the material could have been taken in anywhere, and to accentuate form, the seams would look better around the curves, just like with 99% of such clothes ever made. Down the centre line of the breast though, and ending very near (and above) the nipple? Come on. You rarely see such a thing in a dress, rather more often in bras, to enhance the perky look .

I get you. But still, they could've given her an outfit that's both 'flattering' and practical for ass-kicking. Not saying that they should've given her something too revealing but they didn't really have to cover her up in all that crap. Idk I just find her clothes really dull and I totally hate the baggy shorts and pouch

True that they could have structured it to be more flattering, but I don't think Tifa ever showed much care as to wearing incredibly flattering clothing

Tifa's redesigns for the Compilation don't make her any less sexy. If anything, I'd say they make her more attractive. Most of the fans are no longer teenagers and so you no longer need short shorts and a crop top with balloon tits to get attention.

I like her current design and definitely think it has improved with time. The fact that her outfit is actually combat appropriate is just the icing on the cake.

The observation is even made that she always wears a skirt.

I think wearing flattering clothes was always a consideration for her -- the cowgirl look to impress Cloud when she was expecting him (her CC Ultimania profile says she tried to dress sexy because she thought he would be coming), the purple dress to get Corneo's attention, and her regular outfit because she worked in a bar. Women who work in bars dress a particular way to get the patrons' attention (and tips).

Maybe I shouldn't have used 'baggy' but still, it looks a bit loose compared to her usual tight-fitting clothes.

The sneakers look goofy to me because they make her feet look big, like in cartoons. Well to me at least. Overall, the combination of her shoes, the length of her shorts and that stupid cloth hanging down her ass makes her legs look short just as the neckline of her vest makes

Idk I just feel that SE was too careful about showing off a bit of her skin when they could've given her something more modest than her OG clothes but still reflects her style. Her look is boring and lacks appeal.

Yeah, the cowgirl outfit was for looks. She was also 15. And her whore dress was...just that. She was basically going undercover (by not covering ). And while I'm sure she did get plenty of tips, it doesn,'t look to me like that was the object of her get up. Heavy boots with metal plates on the side, fingerless gloves wrapped in leather and loaded with materia, a metal plate on her arm for throwing elbows, a tight but not revealing top to hold her chest still, and a short skirt for kicking. This was an outfit for ass-kicking, not seducing.

But by AC, she's not really doing either of these things. She clearly kept up with her training, but she's not running terrorist raids. And she's not trying to extract a few extra gil from patrons trying to get back on their feet after Meteorfall.

Basically, it comes down to what we've concluded before. No, her design hasn't gotten better, but it's not out of character either.

I must say that I think her OG outfit probably had its uses, as in some sleazy douchecanoe might be a bit distracted by it and underestimate her (especially as shes only 5'4/5'5) and then get their ass handed to them. I find that idea immensely appealling

I'm sorry but I'd have to say if there was ever a dominate characteristic of Tifa's character, I'd say "Love" more than "Boobs." I think I get what you're trying to say but I think anybody who's ever played the game can attest that there is way more to her character than just her massive boobs, and a central, defining part of that character is definitely love. I don't think you're giving her a lot of credit with your post, but at the same time I have no idea if your post is meant to be sarcastic or serious.

In any case, I guess the only time I've ever had a problem with Tifa's boobs were when I could see her nipples in Advent Children. Kind of seemed really unnecessary, especially since she's wearing layers of clothing in that outfit.

Sarcastic? Really? I was being dead serious. I do agree with you about that love-thing, but the point I was trying to make (obviously not so well) is that the first thing that comes up in your mind when talking about Tifa are not her seemingly cherished qualities as a character, but rather her large knockers . Nothing wrong with that, of course you could make the same with Cloud (spiky ass hair). The problem is, Tifa as a character doesn't stick out until very late in the game and that is actually one of the main reasons I think some people still pick up Aeris as Cloud's preferable love interest.

Oh and as for the credit for Tifa: she was one of my favourite characters from the original game. Who cares if it's just for the boobs or that funny as hell slap fight with Scarlett. The fanservice is there for a purpose and I see no shame in admitting that I'm a big sucker for that. Tifa in AC, well, pfft.

Yeah, have to say, "strong" isn't the first word that comes to mind when I think "Cloud". He's a friggin mess in VII, dude.

Oh for sure honey, but you never thought swinging that huge buster sword around like it's your ex-girlfriend doesn't count as a "strong"? Or how strong mentally he becomes in the latter half of the game. Sure my first list was full of holes and you can dig in to it as much as you like, but it's very unlikely that it's going to convince me to think otherwise. Though "emo" would be a good alternative, but that one is saved for some other main character from some other galaxy... *sickening eyes*

For sure in our dictionaries word "big" has a different meaning. But the whole AC as a movie didn't really get me, so I disliked pretty much all of it. Well, Cid was still as cool as ever. He pretty much saved my day with those few seconds of screentime he got.

Tifa is certainly not on the same level as Lara Croft. I don't think you'll see many martial artists - or hell, professional athletes - with breasts as large as either girl though. Not to say there aren't any, but it's probably not the most comfortable thing.

That's why sports bras were invented, . It might just be perception and thanks to said sports bras though, but I can't seem to remember any professional female athlete with large norks (outside of tennis, somehow, ). It's either the sports bra (Fangu had a video about that lolz) or low fat percentage; third option is, of course, that it's impractical and women with large bewbs just don't make it to the upper tiers of sports.

Well a sports bra is just meant to hold them in place, I don't think they have much impact on their size. I think it is mainly down to fat percentage. I'm not saying everyone with big boobs is fat (except me ofc! - though I was kind of big even before I was overweight) Just that it helps, most times when you see a skinny girl (I mean properly skinny skinny not just normal weight) with boobs over a D cup its probable that implants are involved. Unless of course she was fatter and just lipoed off everything but the boobs
