Oh, give me a break guys, come on. As you can tell from the previews and cast listing, the robots *do* have a bigger role. Are you guys seriously expecting a movie with no humans at all? It sounds good, but first off that's gonna seriously strain the budget to have the entire cast compute-generated. Human characters also give the movie star pull and the viewer someone to relate to beyond the robots. And there were always humans playing large roles in the Transformer cartoons back in the day.

Yeah, it looks like Sam is gonna have a larger role, so what? It doesn't mean it's gonna be like the first movie where the robots aren't around for the first hour. Movies *never* show you the good bits, they just show you enough to give you a bare idea of the plot and a few exceptionally cool action scenes. They're called "trailers" for a reason. Was I irritated about their relatively minor role in the first film? Well, yeah, but again, there's more robots, and it's been stated that with the effects worked out they can give the robots more screen time. So there will be more robots around more often, what more do you want?

You guys are bitching about a movie you haven't even seen yet, you can't possibly judge if it's good or not. See the damn thing and then judge.

And the humans were never as important as the transformers in the old cartoons. No one was expecting there to not be any humans in the films either. What a pointless rant.

Also, I fear there may be too much human concentration throughout the movie AGAIN. Just saw a trailer with Sam freaking out and writing out messages and symbols through the alien text seen in the first movie. Wth. Then, Optimus is all like "yeah this battle may soon be yours blah blah blah".

Aye, but the point of trailers and advertising and shit is so people can form an opinion as a consumer before you actually see the whole film. Our opinions as film critics is obviously limited, sure, but as consumers I think we are more than allowed to discuss and figure out whether it's something we want to spend money on.

And from what I can tell, a lot of us probably are going to spend money on it, so the hell with it.

No, that's what we're worried the movie will be. At the same time we're pumped for high octane action scenes and explosions and violence up the wazoo.

We're not saying the film will definitively bad. Even if humans are more important, it's still likely to be entertaining.

Nobody's complaining about the film, of course nobody's seen it, if you could be bothered to tell the difference between people complaining about the film and people expressing concern over the direction the film looks to be taking then you wouldn't have needed to state your own haughty opinion in such a way as to damn everybody elses as 'bitching'
