UNCHARTED 3: DRAKES DECEPTION

I've either been playing online or Sonic, so I haven't advanced the campaign at all actually. But I have no plans tomorrow, so that's what's happening.

I really like that this game has more legitimate puzzles. Not that they're especially elaborate or anything, but they at least require some thought unlike 2's.

Oh come on it wasn't that bad. Like Yacc said, I knew immediately what I was doing, it was just a matter of doing it.

EDIT: Also, I just finished Chapters 17-19.

Their ability to create moods is unbelievable. They did it with the village in Uncharted 2, and they did it with the hopelessness of those deserts scenes. Holy crap. They know PRECISELY how long every segment should last for maximum effect. The mirages, the ending up back at the well, Sully getting him to stand up and then being gone. Freezing at night. Wow.
And that's not even mentioning how you arrive in the freaking desert, holy crap.

Naughty Dog, you are amazing.

Now it's time for dinner, after which I'll probably switch back to Sonic. Good thing I moved into the city so I could have a social life on the weekends, right?

Um, wow. Yes. So many things about the campaign blew my mind. Good show, Naughty Dog, good show.

Beat it yesterday. Loved every minute of it. My favorite scene is the flashback chase, for some reason I just thought it was amazing. Also the dynamic between Sully-Nate is gold.

I was surprised/raged when I thought Sully died. But after it was clear that Nate was tripping balls I was like, oh good, Sully's alive. Dead Sully is not okay.

Also is there supplemental universe stuff that explains what happens to Nate and Eliza's relationship because I felt I was lost.

I remember in the ComicCon interview Amy Hennig said that she deliberately keeps parts of the Nate and Elena relationship vague because she feels the player should be allowed to fill it in themselves. So as much as I would love for more insight into them as well I doubt we'll ever get it. >:

As curious as I am as well about what exactly went wrong, I was so satisfied with the ending, and hope that Drake's learned his lesson (well, you know, that the writers deem it so) because Elena is freaking awesome.

tbh, I have no problem with how vague they left it. I think the point got across just fine without having to divulge details. But I'm not one to turn down moar uncharted stuffs

I finished this a couple days ago. I absolutely loved it. I gotta say though, the story seemed a little bit rushed imo, I feel like I need to replay it so I can understand certain stuff.

The gameplay was definitely an improvement from U2 though! And the co-op mode is just perfect.

I guess that might sound like being rushed on paper, but that's not really how it translated to me. There wasn't any downtime in this game, which made it so hard to put down

I agree. Every time I thought there might be some downtime the story just kept going. I loved it.

Holy shit is it just me or do the fights get really fucking tough/annoying from chapter 14 and onwards? seriously I swear we spent at least 30 minutes each chapter on some big battle, it was insane. DAMN RPGS AND ROCKET LAUNCHERS

all in all I've really enjoyed it. Drake is fuckin' nuts though. And the Drake/Elena scenes... dawwwwww
