My friend who's a celeb down at home had Watchmen assigned to him as a thesis for his philosophy class. Something about Rorschach's and Oz's principles and how it affects the morality of human nature, along with super heroes. And Nite Owl's impotent issues as to why he needs the persona/costume.

I never looked at the "I Believe in Harvey Dent" site, so I'm not really sure.

Perhaps they wanna check if the Dark knight's charm can work on Watchmen. Quite frankly, they should stay old school and just post fake 70's/60's news about the heroes than use TDK's ideas.

Frankly Mumble, seeing the lingering marketing and after effects of the Dark Knight's 'charm' has made me so repulsed and bored stiff that I'm praying Watchmen doesn't go the same way.

I've never read the watchmen comics and haven't bothered to watch any trailers for the film.. Until now; been to the flicks today where they ran the trailer and liked what I saw, just glad the studios got themselves sorted out.

Kunoichi, you really should check out Watchmen from a library or something. I know quite a few people that almost never read graphic novels and they love it.

Lol I might just do that if I end up liking the film, but I haven't got a clue where to start with US comics (I mainly read manga.) How long has it been running then?

I read somewhere that Alan Moore was surprised at how faithful the script is to the source material.

If that's true, isn't that almost like a glowing review, coming from him? :monster:
