Looks like you need more girls... I kinda wanna do it but I'm too nervous... uhm... if no other girls do it... maybe... just... am nervous.

I'd be up for it but I'm not particularly interesting. And nobody knows who the hell I am anyway.

For a FF7 game commentary, since it would be so long, perhaps it could be done in 'shifts' by different groups if there are enough people that want to commentate. Like, for example, persons A, B, C and D commentate from the beginning until leaving Midgar, then persons E, F, G and H comment for another stretch of the game, then back to the first group (or a third group) and so on. It would also get it done faster.

For AC it's probably not a problem, but if we do the FF7 one we'd probably wanna plan some stuff out to talk about in advance to avoid dead air.

On this subject:

To go along with the FFVII commentary, I thought we could add more things from the Ultimania Omega to the site (explanations and notes from the Story Playback, etc.). It might help give something to mention during the commentary, even if just a quick note and a comment to check the site for more (which is what this thread was about getting people to do in the first place)

So now we have it for FFVII, and now apparently ACC, since Bexy was able to secure a copy.

Honestly, I think we should do ACC first since its shorter, easier to work with, and is relatively new. Is anyone opposed to this? When would be the best time to coordinate this meeting so people can watch it and talk about it?

I guess it'd be up to Bex since its her copy and all.

Here's my question... if I have a... copy that's not on DVD or bluray... will that sync up with the others who do have those copies? I know subtitles will eventually go off because of FPS and such so I'm not sure if this'll work or not.

It took me all of 5 minutes to find a copy of ACC online, just as long as you press play at the same time as everyone else then I don't think you'll have a problem syncing up with everyone else.

I'd like to get involved with this too, but it just depends on how soon I can get a headset. Since I dropped a chair on my old one

Yeah, i think fps is a factor if say everyone is watching the american 29fps version, and some are watching the uk 25fps one. They'll go out of sink.

As long as everybody has a clean audio track it'll make for easy editing together. make sure everyone has earphones in to listen to the other people and to the film.

I would say dub since...A, we're and English site, and B, it allows for discussion as people bitch about/defend it. Just my two cents though. And I dunno if people's downloaded copies ave more than one language track anyway.

This is a good idea. If I need to grab another version, it's fine by me. Just so long as we're all watching something with the same runtime, it shouldn't matter.
