Ochs deserved to be way more famous than he was. It's a shame; if he had been better known it's possible someone would have gotten him the help he clearly needed at the end of his life and he wouldn't have killed himself. He's left several albums of absolutely amazing work that ranks with the best of Dylan and Seeger's work though.
I want to watch that documentary. And yeah, "Love Me, I'm a Liberal" is great. The sad thing is that though the names have changed, it's still 100% accurate to modern American politics. If anything it describes the modern Democratic Party even more accurately than the Democratic Party of the '60s.
