What happened to Tifa?

I never even noticed before how far back she flies before falling forward, I guess that's how she gets to the pillar...I just always saw her falling.

Just for people who don't really know what Dual Hound or a pile bunker is, as Ryushikaze mentioned, it's a blunt force weapon.

Pile bunkers are basically wrist-mounted jackhammers. They're usually shields or gloves fitted with a mechanism that drives forward a hammer. The strike of the hammer is combined with the momentum of a punch to deliver an even more powerful attack. Like a mechanical battering ram.

Basically they're showing the same frame of time from several angle points . At the same time you see the close up of Marlene and Loz closing his weapon, Tifa is hitting the pillar.

I got all this on the first try, possibly because I am a Compilation nerd and didn't blink for like the entire movie. Total dry-eyes, Ben Stein did not save me. What I never got is Loz adjusting the little knob or whatever on the Dual Hound right before he suddenly owns Tifa like she's a level 1. When I first saw it, it let me get past my nerd-rage that anyone could take her out so easy after she did so awesome in round one, cause I told myself that was the source of his ultra-super-speed-of-doom. It was some function of his weapon, and I considered it akin to cheating. But now, profiles I see on the characters and such seem to intimate that the speed is natural to Loz. So what the hell is he doing with the Dual Hound there? Adjusting it, making sure it fits after him getting smashed into the floor and pews and such? Turning up the juice on its weird stun-gun function? Both?

This is a much more sane and rational solution than my initial one. Much more. As a matter of fact, my belief that turning a knob on his weapon = turning on super-speed probably belongs in the crack theory thread.
