What is the most thought-provoking game you've ever played?

Dead Space (the demo) make me think "god, why can't I just shoot this thing normally and have it die?"

Quite a few moments in the actual game you'd love.

Weapons make shooting off limbs easy though.

Problem is enemies and erratic movement patterns and speeds.

Survival horror is never easy.

id say that game was thought provoking. towards the end it got fucking crazy.

If you get the special version, there's a Snake/Raiden skateboard mini-game. For some reason Snake saying,
"Sweet!"
After he lands a move, disturbs me.
