I FINALLY got a working copy of Mass Effect. The first bit with the Citedal was pretty boring, except for meeting Tali. She's one of my faves from the second game. But afterwards I went to Noveria, and withint minutes I was having tense standoffs, taking part in corporate espionage, and shooting cops. As you may guess, I'm playing an asshole.

I just read some Larkin poems today and was like. I FUCKING LOVE THIS DEGREE and then I researched some Woolf and Eliot for my dissertation and was like FUCK YEAH I LOVE THIS DEGREE.

Also I think I can make a good list of why my day has been the best day of the year so far:

I woke up after having a FioTis sex dream. IT FINALLY FUCKING HAPPENED.
Adri had written me stuff when I woke up.
Adri promised to write me more when she woke up.
I realise I'm ahead on my reading.
I had a Kit-Kat chunky for breakfast.
I got my Memorialising Slavery essay back with a mark of 74, a first, and my tutor said he would like an electronic copy of my essay so he can use my 'provocative statements' in his research. This is amazing because I was getting very het up about it being terrible.
I had a Narratives of Witchcraft seminar in which I sat in the cushioned chair and we talked about Wicked! and Harry Potter.
We discussed Blake's Songs of Innocence and Experience, and FOR ONCE included discussion of the plates.
I extended my overdraft to £1400.
I had a duck, rice and seaweed roll for lunch.
Met up with my friend and had a good long chat.
Finished Larkin's 'High Windows' collection.
Got a text from Alex that he had finished his Dessies post.
The bus home didn't get stuck in rush-hour traffic.

Mine was pretty awesome too: I'm just thankful that all my new semester's courses are a) incredibly interesting and b) mostly quite easy. I am loving the fact that I'm loving school~
