So, I'm sitting here, preparing for the next lesson, when I pause and realize...
I do have some awesome parents.
They let me stay back in their house even if I do not have the money to rent an apartment and pay my own expenses yet. They encourage me with my work and advertise me through their family friends. They are dedicated to my little autistic sister, never hiding her problem, but not advertising it either. They have run high and low in order to provide her with anything she needs to function as properly as possible and they never leave her alone to her fate. They are willing to help me paying what expenses I cannot afford, even though I have my own money and even though I never ask them to (too ashamed).
It just warms my heart. <3

Also, I finally received official confirmation that two of my poems are being published in my college's literary magazine. this is my first time being published in a half decent literary magazine. This is a step forward, imho. Gotta say, these elusive moments of pure success feel amazing.

Hearing my teacher saying how much she loved my mid-term cookies, how I really improved compared to last semester, and would actually pay for my cookies.
I also get to sleep late Tues/Thurs and go on field trips Mon/Wed/Fri. What a great break after tests!
