Nothing whatsoever, I agree. A better ending would be Cthulhu returning, smiting Cloud by destroying his mind and making him kill himself by clobbering himself on the head with the severed arms of one (or a couple) of those kids, and Cthulhu raping the rest with tentacles.

As for me, I thought that ACC was much better than AC that I hated - for that they made Cloud an emo jerk in there

If I had to add scenes, then it'd definitely be, like everyone, scenes concerning Avalanche - it's when they show up that this feeling of playing the game comes back, you know?

Yup - if they would've add another hour to the movie (which I wouldn't doubt they would do if they were willing to put the funds into it and it wasn't ridiculous), I'm sure they would've added more character introductions and flashbacks to the movie.

But then, that's me who'd like to see the movie appeal to the masses that haven't played FFVII or wouldn't get it right away, like 99% of the people I've shown it to so far, .

Yeah, but that would have been nice to see. In a faraway shot there's a few Chocobos grazing and then Cloud zoomz by and scares them.

You seem to forget that:

1 - Cloud's head is reminiscent of a chocobo

2 - Cloud looks slightly girly

And therefore Cloud would look like a pretty chocoboa to them. Which means that they would ignore the high-powered bike (and the chopper with a camera inside too) and chase him while asking for n00dz.

Or something like that.

I remember watching that before I knew anything about chocobos and thinking it was epic shit. Now, not so much.
