Just finished Mario Galaxy 2 on Wii. It was good. I hadn't played it in a long time, and and just did the last couple level this evening not know it was already the end. It was fun. Don't think I will bother getting all the stars.

I always got stuck on the part were you have to fight a boss (a duke who turns into a monster) with only Ramsa.

That is always the most underhanded part of the game. What I had to end up doing is giving Ramza the Squire commands, and just spend the whole first battle running away and upping his Brave then killing Wiegraf in one 1 hit. and carrying that over to the second fight.

Finished Fez earlier tonight. It is a fun game. Well made. Not very long or hard. There is a new game plus, and it is required to get 100% in the game as some things can't be done till new game plus.

Finally finished the Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds.

Very cool game. Amazing how they're still coming up with such clever puzzles after all this time. And the story at the ending was kinda cool, actually.

OT: Finished Kingdom Hearts Final Mix. Been at the end of it for a while. Need to grind some levels to finish the game, and was putting that off. Finally sat and did the "Hades Cup" a few times over to gain the levels. It was nice to finally see the ending of this, as I never got around to it on the games original release. I couple years a go I went on a kick playing through all the Kingdom Hearts game, tried to play the original back then (after playing some of the others) and was very put off by the controls. This new versions fixed the controls.

Uncharted. I had a feeling I was at the final fight, but wow, was it a lot easier than the other final fights in the series o_O

When playing the water scooter sequence I told myself I'm NEVER playing this game on Hard. When the credits were done I stared at the screen for a minute. Then I selected New Game > Hard

Finished 2 games yesterday. Red Faction, and Red Faction 2.

The first was very good, and made me sad to think about all the potential that FPS games have that is being completely ignored in the current generation.

The second was a crash course in everything wrong with FPS as a genre.

^It really is a shame. Honestly, I was never much into first person shooters, but I could absolutely enjoy Perfect Dark, Medal of Honor, and the like now and again. Today they really have nothing at all for me.
There used to actually be times that you WEREN'T just shooting everyone in the room, but actually had to do something else. Like be undercover or find your way into a building.

Normally I roll my eyes at people who constantly go on about how everything used to be better, but the decay of the FPS genre is pretty hard to deny.
