I finally played and finished Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core. I finally learned all about Zack's character, and even though I knew what was coming in the end, it was still so sad!

Just beat Civ 4. For the first time ever I did it through culture, rather than space travel or military might.

I went off the grid for a week and finished GTAV. Effing amazing game. Can't wait for GTA Online.

Bioshock Infinite. After that ending (seriously guys, that fucking ending) felt compelled to immediately start a new playthrough. Don't think I've ever done that before.

I recently finished The Walking Dead and its accompanying DLC, 400 Days, for PS Vita. I did a few things differently this time. Because let's face it, who'd do the same thing twice?

- Generally sided with Lily over Kenny
- Killed the farm guys in front of Clem/everyone
- Ditched Lily after she shot Doug
- Still shot Duck for Kenny after Katjaa killed herself
- Pushed Omid
- Didn't threaten Vernon
- Didn't consider Vernon's offer
- Was honest with Clem about finding her parents
- Showed the bite mark to everyone
- Chose to keep Lee's arm instead of amputating it
- Killed the stranger
- Let Clem leave without shooting Lee at the end

Just finished two things tonight. First I finished up the Borderlands 2 dlc "Tiny Tina's Assult on Dragon Keep", and I finished a playthrough of the first Bioshock.

The DLC was good, but all the reference jokes got old after a bit.

Bioshock was great, of course. However I really hate the last part of this game. Having to guard the little sister with her 3 sound drops is so annoying. Why couldn't they give a few more lines to the little bitch? Also the last boss is really a disappointment. I thought time would soften me on both of those points, but it hasn't. Still a great game overall. Best FPS you can play... if you can't lay your hands on System Shock.

Road Rash (Also known as Road Rash 3DO and Road Rash 32-bit). The first game I owned on the first console I owned, the Playstation, and it took me all this time to finish it. Level five in Big Game Mode is insanely long and difficult. Great fun though.

Shadow Hearts: Covenant. It was good...mostly. It's generally better-written than the first and one of the main benefits of that is Yuri comes across more as an exuberant hero with a "bite me" attitude and some actual depth, rather than the obnoxious fuckwit from the first game. Tonally it's all over the place, though. Half the characters are wacky some of the time, the rest all of the time, but the dramatic arc of the story is rarely less than serious. There's a lot of really misjudged homophobic comedy and one of the main characters is a loveable old man with a downright creepy relationship with his little girl dress-up doll; which would be fine, except the game never acknowledges how grim the whole thing is. There's a post-credits scene that doesn't make a lick of sense. Still mostly enjoyed it, and I'm much more fired up for the third one now.

Limbo.

I told myself something when I completed this game: This thing is a piece of art.

The game has very little narrative. There are... "things" in the game that people of all walks of life can relate to, so what Limbo means to me, will be different from what Limbo means to you. That my friends, is just magical.

Not quite as compelling as the first one when it came out. Still very good, and interesting. Will definitely replay it.
