Yeah, on a shallow level I like her because I find her extremely attractive, but I think she has an incredible voice. Paramore's something of a guilty pleasure; I enjoy them but I'm well aware they aren't going to blow anyone away with their lyrics or generic z100 rock, but I could listen to her sing all day.

Crowd followers, its simple. People liked her because they wanted to fit in with the rest.
I for one, hate all her songs now. I remember when I first played Sims 2 for gamecube and turned the music player on, her song "Pressure" played. That song I enjoy.
But other than that, people are just crowd followers
