Looks great, I was kinda hoping for a summer release to bridge the gap to XV, but I look forward to it all the same. I like hearing the old voices again I also love some of the less seen characters (Faris and Celes! <3)

I'm even surprised that Square Enix even remembered showing it now, since that game had been silent for months and I was worried that it would end up cancelled.

But hey, at least October will keep everyone pretty busy, with what playing both FFXV after buying it, and then buying World of Final Fantasy. So I think Square Enix wants to make up for keeping so many fans impaitent(not to mention that 2015 was a sucky year).

Surprising, yet also nice. I always thought Shelke was probably the one good thing to come out of Dirge. <3

Out of the two in Dirge, I prefer Shelke over her older sister Shalua(she somehow irritates me, for some reason).

Such chibi, much cute! I'll admit it sounds a little weird hearing their normal voices when they're in such chibi forms, but I don't dislike it. I'll probably be picking this up when the time comes.

I knew the Final Fantasy characters would get normal voices despite their chibi forms, but then again, World of Final Fantasy is another fun Final Fantasy spin-off. Not really meant to connect with the main series.

It's like Kingdom Hearts, only without crossing over with Disney, and it's a single world game, and there are no Keyblades.

I'm pretty confident that Steve Burton's voicing Cloud in this game.

I'm just surprised that the Dirge of Cerberus content is used for this game. I honestly thought they were just sticking to the content of the original FFVII game, but then again, they're using Lightning's attire from Lightning Returns rather than the first FFXIII game.

Lots of game-play here. Starts somewhere around 15-18 minutes in.
Looking at the game-play, I'm really liking what I see. So much so, I wished this was the guy working on the FFVII remake, not Nomura and Kitase.

EDIT 2 :

55 minutes in they show it running on the Vita - stable frame-rate and all. Definitely buying this for that system.

Update: 28th of June 2016-While on this note, am I the only one who still wants the english voice actors for World of Final Fantasy(not to mention have actors of Cloud, Yuna, Squall, ect., from their previous FF(and KH) titles to return to reprise their roles)? And, while this is not for this thread, for english actors in FFVII:R, KH2.8, KH3, and FFXV?

'Cause lately, a lot of people only want to hear Japanese voices for games, whereas me and other people in the world, I want not only to translate the dialogue, but I also want to hear english voice actors in Japanese games(that get released internationally), like Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts.

Comparisons between the PS4 and Vita versions.
I'm actually really impressed at how smoothly it seems to run and how much they've reduced the load times from the earlier builds.
Definitely getting this in Japanese for my Vita.

Me too. I think Rachel Leigh Cook actually enjoys voicing Tifa as much as Steve Burton enjoys voicing Cloud. I mean, heck, if Quinton Flynn made a comment on wanting to voice Reno again, then I think there's a fair chance that these aren't going to give up voicing the FFVII cast anytime soon. Well, most of them.

I'm just glad(well, actually I'm really happy) that Tifa's been added and that she, Cloud and Shelke all have their original english voice actors again.

Bodes well for the remake!

Well, Nomura did say that they planned on getting the Advent Children voice cast(both Japanese and English) back together for the remake. I'm not so certain about Elena's voice actress, and Aerith's questionable too since she changed three times(including KH1).

Tseng might be okay because his actor returned for Crisis Core(I love his voice. So mesmerizing!), Quinton Flynn for Reno, hopefully since he's still waiting to voice Lea/Axel again for KH3(can you blame him?). Steven Blum might have a fair chance in returning as Vincent.

The only ones I'm most certain about that are not likely to return are Red XIII(Nanaki)'s voice actor since he only said eight lines in the entire voicing for him(and that's only in Advent Children), and Paul...can't remember his last name made it clear that he hated voicing Hojo(again, can you blame him too?) so he's out, and Hojo's Japanese actor died last year.

Nah, I've never been to keen on Mandy Moore being the voice of Aerith. It just seems edgy to me. I'd like Mena Suvari to come back, but that's just me.

Yuffie on the other hand, I'm torn between choosing Christy Carlson Romano(who voiced Yuffie in KH1 and Advent Children) and Mae Whitman(who voiced her in KH2 and Dirge of Cerberus) since both actually sound perfect for her.

Fuck yeah! I love Mandy Moore as Aerith, because she is a genuinely great voice actor and works through lines to make the awkward lines work. Maybe with Rapunzel appearing in KH3, the team will work with her again, assuming Skylark studio get both projects.

Yes, certainly not Mena Suvari. I didn't have a problem with Andrea Bowen, but they could use someone else, whatever.

I liked Christy Carlson Romano, but Mae Whitman honestly sounded so similar that it's hardly noticeable. Yuffie was also a lot cooler in AC than in Dirge, so that could be coloring it.

I have a love/hate thing with Rachel Leigh Cook as Tifa, my opinion changes on her with the weather. I'm okay with most of AC staff although yeah, they could do with a better voice director. Barret mostly, I hated his voice, but then found out his VA was a pretty seasons voice actor so oh well. I fucking hated Cid.

But Mena Suvari.is.horrible. I just have high expectations of the FFVII crowd, Mena actually sucks me right out of the experience and makes it worse. Mandy Moore was the best natural voice for me, but unfortunately KH's original depiction of Aerith wasn't my favorite. Andrea Bowen isn't bad either.
