Yo, you can fight inside the stores now and trash the entire place and smash goons into microwaves AND HAVE THEIR HEADS COOKED WTF??!?

Been looking for Club Sunshine and was disappointed to see it wasn't there anymore but then found it on a different street. Been wondering what Yuki and the other girls are doing now. I miss my crew. :sigh:

Then I trigger the cutscene for the cabaret club stuff and the owner comes out and I think "oh she's super cute" and then she says her name is Yuki and I'm like "ah, Yuki, I knew someone with that name once, she was also in the cabaret club biz- WAIT A SECOND THAT'S MY YUKI OMG GIRL I MISSED YOUUUUU T____T"

Ah, all is right with the world again. Time to lead another kyabakura to success and shit, this is where the real game begins. :awesome:

EDIT:

I'm liking Kaoru so far. She tagged along in Kamurocho and I got to kick a few goons' butts with her and do team-up heat attacks. She did that sick scorpion kick Trinity does in the Matrix sequels :neo:

Ah, and there's Majima again. Loved how Kiryu couldn't help but smirk when he made his goofy dance entrance into the coliseum

random other impressions so far: I like having some modern QoL features like the active sidequests all showing up right there in the menu. In Kiwami 1 I neglected an open substory for like 20 hours because I kind of forgot about it and didn't realize until I checked the completion list...

The improved physics are fun when you kick enemies across the curb. :mon:

Kind of don't like how there's no regular run without having to hold the X button though, that seems like a step backwards...

I don't know if you learn other fighting styles in this but so far I actually like having only one? Style switching was neat and all but I also get overwhelmed if I have too much choice and found it difficult to keep track of which action belonged to which style and how many heat bars do you need to trigger etc etc.
Simpler makes things easier for me. It helps that I also don't get bored of kicking people across the street the same way over and over again :mon:
In Kiwami 1, once I got Dragon style to at least unlocking Tiger Drop, I barely used any other style anymore.
