Your favorite opening movies/cutscenes

Exactly like it sounds - what are your favorite game intro movies and cutscenes? These are usually what you see when you load up your game of choice before you hit the title screen, when you're idling on the title screen, or after you've started the game itself.

The one that immediately comes to my mind - probably because I've been playing it a lot on PC lately - plays out like a movie trailer, which makes a lot of sense given that it's for

Spoiler: Left 4 Dead 2.

Another that comes to mind for me should be pretty well-known around these parts:

One that I've recently become enthralled by owes its greatness in extremely large part to the super epic music playing during it, for

In general this first mission as an intro is fucking fantastic.

The game itself is mediocre, but this sequence gets you pumped, makes you nostalgic for the history of the series and gives a taste of what the actual game has to offer. Really great.

Trivia: The Japanese version of this intro SUCKS SO BAD. Bad J-pop plays. Like...really bad and uninspired J-pop.

It may not be as cinematic as what game intros have become, but I like it. It honestly makes want to play through Super Metroid every time I see it.

Can't beat the classics. Perfectly paced, atmospheric (if a little hammy), art style a little more inspired than the designs in 2.
