I believe it was all her. Ultimecia wouldn't have had "time" to do anything else since Time Compression was used immediately after the battle. Also I read somewhere that when a witch uses too power they start to mutate soo apparently she used her power a lot.

I had an issue when I had a hard copy of the game. Battles in the second to last dungeon failed to load due to a scratched 4th disc. Once I got the digital version everything was fine. Just get a new copy or get the digital version off the PSN store.

Correct. I never knew eithers had a drain effect when zombied. I've only gotten a game over once. I got stoned by some lizards in the sunken cavern a while back.
