Unfortunately, it only looks like the character, monster and GF models have been updated. It's the major reason why I'm buying this on Steam. Something like the Remako Mod for the backgrounds would make this version perfect, as I'm loving what they've done with the models in general.

There is still a chance a deal will be reached, but this is a massive loss. Unfortunately for Sony, they are going to come out of this a heck of a lot worse with not having Spider-Man involved in the Marvel playground.

Let's just say that it has come a heck of a long way since launch. The various installments have really turned this game around and changed the minds of even the harshest critics.

No need to get snotty. I personally do not accept the evidence of the E3 press release if you are going to also disregard the contents of the same period - the E3 and Symphonic trailers - as well as the State of Play trailer which came before it, which all lost the Play It First tagline. So...

In what way? The State of Play trailer and the E3 trailer did not have the "play it first on Playstation 4" tagline that the original trailers possessed.

Yeah, that quote also needs to be placed into a larger context. It was done as a direct result of a listing mistake, which they had to nip in the bud before gamers ran with it. If you are in the middle of a renegotiation for some form of exclusivity, you can't very well mention that you have...

We'll have to wait and see later in the year if there is indeed an announcement, or if another trailer hits. You just don't remove the tagline of your "system-selling" game, that you have poured money into marketing, for no reason. They have been shouting that from the rooftops from the start...
