I can vouch for that as well. Had a friend that did that for a couple of years (I applied at the same developer, but was in school at the time and the hours just wouldn't work for me), and he was barely computer literate. ;)

Maybe. Though it could be that it's some code that accidentally got pushed out to the production site from the development environment (or because they're doing a live test). Like I said, I'm not entirely sure what it does, but it looks media related... and may have some tracking features in...

P.S. Just as a note... you wouldn't be doing much of anything DDoS prevention-related in javascript. Javascript loads in the browser, meaning that by the time it runs, the request has already hit the server, been okayed by said server, and the server has responded by loading in assets...

God, I hated that thing. I finished it but have never been back... though that's in part because I can't land the goddamned Regalia to get to it again. I did it ONCE, on sheer luck and have never been able to do it again. I crash every time.
