Yeah, my buddy beat it last night and we both shared the same sentiments about how early you fight Sephiroth. I hope it will be the last until the very end. And the first time in FFVII we get to fight Sephiroth with his clothes on, unlike the Omnislash scene. :P

Started my first Hard playthrough last night, just got to chapter 4. Already game over'd at the mutated beast that you face in the On The Prowl sidequest lol. The game definitely wants you to master and learn the materia system which is great.

I wouldn't mind a CC remake with this game's battle system. It would actually be fun this time around.

I mean, the remake already has changes to it already like Wedge surviving the plate fall before the ending. Nothing has really indicated that there will be significant changes so far like the one that I described.

Oh, and here I was thinking that shit was gonna be wild like going to Wutai right after Midgar, timelines merging, etc. My anxiety level about this ending has dropped immensely in the past 15 minutes over the reaction to this ending.

I'm in the middle of this chapter right now. Is this the last chapter that I can grind to Level 50 before a potential point of no return?

Yeah, it was very dark for me as well, especially the boss fight. I still haven't seen the top floors yet (stopped as soon as Chapter 17 started last night), but the building definitely feels more restrictive this time around. It was similar to Chapter 12 for me, it was great, but the nitpicker...
