I'm really glad Barret and Rufus are getting the appreciation they deserve. Both were a little underrated in the original IMO. Thank you SE for making Rufus' boss battle one of the hardest in the game.

Yeah, I got major FFXII vibes from the voice acting and I LOVE that game's voice acting. Square-Enix has done a fantastic job on all FF titles voice acting-wise since FFXV, I'm so happy they finally focused on this area after being bad there for a long time with most games prior.

I used to be one of those people. I could never get into MMOs back in the 2000s because everytime I watched one of my friends play one they were just grinding for days on end. It looked incredibly boring and I was put off by them until this year when I finally gave both FFXI and FFXIV a chance...

And thank god for that (showing trailers when the games are close to ready). Even FFVIIR was guilty of that. I just rewatched it myself and I'm feeling a little bit better about the game too. I guess I'm still too hung up by how I feel about RE8 right now and it dragged over to this knowing...

Unless the soldiers at the beginning were the other party members, I wonder if they will try to implement multiplayer and have the game be a hybrid of both on and offline. The game does seem to be pretty focused on the MC himself, so I wonder if it will be like FFXI's Trust system where you can...

Yeah, I gotta see more. The blood was shocking (this could be the first M-rated mainline entry?), but everything felt so.....generic. Got too many FFXV vibes from that.

I expect the boss fight outside of Kalm and Midgar is going to involve Beck's Badasses and Devil Rider(s), if they want to continue using them throughout the remake.
