This is generally true. It's also the best way to deal with someone spoilt who's throwing a tantrum to scare someone. A tantrum over something small, perhaps.
But remember, Barret had just told the party how he'd lost his village, his wife, his best friend, and most of his friends and family -...
Epic.
Good things about the game:
1. It fleshed out Vincent's past and Sephiroth's origins. Might not have been done very well, but it did answer some questions.
2. It brought Cait Sith out of the shadows. Was I the only one who felt that he had a tacked-on kind of feel in Final Fantasy...
Tifa. Her looking after vegetable Cloud in Mideel alone was enough to win me over. She's very, very strong, in more ways than one.
I've never liked Aerith as a character. She's scripted to hit on Cloud repeatedly even when he states that Tifa is his girlfriend, and frankly, I find that...
That's one of their more deliciously Pink arguments - "Cloud wasn't crying when Tifa was beat up."
Didn't Cloud seem more quietly angry than sad at Tifa being injured? At any rate, Aerith was stabbed before his eyes, and quite clearly dead; Tifa was alive, breathing, and well enough to gently...
Hm, I don't remember everything they thought of... But I do remember that Zack barely made an appearance in Advent Children. I should get more people to watch Advent Children Complete, and see what they think. Just for fun. :monster:
I moved out of that house. :wacky:
Well, you have to understand that they're just going into this movie without any previous knowledge of the game and no concern for the LTD. Nothing to indicate anything that happened from the night beneath the Highwind.
And yes, it's obvious that Cloud was living with Tifa and the kids, but...
Out of the five people I've convinced to watch Advent Children without playing Final Fantasy VII first, four of them thought that Cloud had been in love, and still was in love, with Aerith. They also thought it obvious that Tifa was interested in Cloud, and thought it a one-sided thing.
The...
Really? Maybe it was meant for Wutai. :monster: It's obviously got monstrous range. :P A blast or two on a civilian area or military encampment from afar, and charge and firing time don't really matter - most of your enemy's probably already gone.
Aw, Cannon, why'd you put "both"? :P Zack and Cloud have qualities that annoy me, and qualities I admire - but you've saved me from having to think hard enough to pick between them by giving us that option. :monster:
Actually, if we're talking about the same smile, I do believe Tifa recalls it as being full of kindness?
Edit: Nm, she seems to wonder later on if it was an illusion. :monster:
Damn, man, that woman just can't take a no. It sounds like she's the kind of creepy chick who'd wake up at the crack of dawn and lie in wait for Cloud to make sure he can't sneak out of the house undetected...
And Barret. :monster: But somehow I'm glad they were censored. Which makes me wonder what they'd do in a remake?
I think I'll carry that off to the remake thread, actually.
Yup, I know, but I always figured they'd have some set of standards or norms that developers and such would have to stick to. I figured wrong. :monster: Well, either that, or perhaps Squex has relaxed them if they existed.
O...kay... That... doesn't sound like the usual stuff I'd expect from Squex. Then again, I was a little thrown by the language in The Last Remnant, so... :monster:
It's part of the aesthetics of the thing, isn't it? You might as well ask "Who the fuck cares how they look" - a player might spend more time watching her run than seeing her face...
And I care. :monster: I've always hated that run animation. :(
