I didn't know Sephy-Rot was going to knock Aerith off, so for me it was a pretty nasty surprise... The Nibelheim flashback creeped me out, but Aerith's death really mad me hate him. And I didn't even like her at that point, not one bit. Perhaps people who knew he was going to kill Aerith...
