In fact, compared to the proportions of other characters in fighting games, I'd say Tekken is most possibly one of the closest to normal. Doesn't stop them from having ridiculous fanservice costumes (read: Nina/Anna, Lili *shudder*)

Yeah I think they made Asuka's eyes ridiculously large and slanty just to differentiate the fact that she's like one of the only Japanese females in the game.
Which, I think, is a crockton of stupid.

At the very least the fanservice looks closer to actual people in fetish costumes, but that's not saying very much rly. Christie, well, at least her FMV endings were tasteful

That seemed pretty stupid in a lot of ways and a lot of the stuff he pointed out was pretty obvious. The lame attempts at humor don't help. Lol that bullshit about Chun Li. Has everyone really thought of Chun Li as infantile?

Bayonetta is a terribly designed character. What musculature? Her arms aren't defined at all. In fact I don't see ANY definition in her character's physique. She looks fit, but defined? hell no. Her legs don't look "strong" either. Way too skinny for being so long. As though they'd easily snap given the activities she does. Also, no. Hell no. Study anatomy, and you will see her head is NOT proper proportion.

Also, I'm sorry but Bayonetta DOES grinds and ass shaking just like a stripper, and she's definitely dancing for SOMEONE, the viewer. This guy is trying to read beyond the obvious, and seeing what he wants to justify a character that is pretty much male fanservice.

I think its dumb that its always assumed that people complaining about DRM are just hypocrites that wanna steal the game. MY problem with DRM, as I'm sure it is with many others, is that it doesn't freaking work and serves only to inconvenience your paying customers. Some of the more aggressive ones, I would argue, encourage people to download it. If a game won't install for me again should my computer need to be reformatted or something, then there is actually incentive for me to download a cracked one that I can install again if I need to.

I don't understand why Gears of War has so many female fans. I'm not even referring to the two I play with regularly. Gears has a retarded amount of female fans, so much so that their outcry for playable females has been heard for the next game. I wouldn't expect women to be interested in such testosterone fuel action games.

Hell, I think Bayonetta looks fun and I might play it if I didn't have so many other games backed up. That doesn't mean I don't find the main character incredibley offensive.

Not only is this guy blinded by his Bayonetta fanboyism, he pretty much exemplifies what's wrong with the industry. Because female characters are there to tittilate male gamers, amirite?

The whole thing reeked of a slight creep factor. It's like he went through the whole thing descibing Bayonetta as the perfect sex fantasy. She's neither "childlike" nor an "ice queen," therefore she is super hot while still giving this glimmer of hope that the dude mght be able to get with her. From what it seems, he seems to be turned on by the whole hard to get idea - because even the most unappealing gamer nerd can get with any girl if he tries hard enough! Even if she expresses 0 interest!

The first article got it more right. Games aren't just for hormonal teenaged boys. Hell, games aren't just for boys period.
