A question I've always had...what's up with the gay stuff?

It's pretty much how guys like to get off to some lez action, girls like to watch some too with their preferred sex.

Personally I don't like yaoi or yuri for the hawtness!!!11, but they relationship as it is. Same with straight ones it's never just because of looks. I like Cloud/Zack becasue they were good friends and have a strong connection, same with Aerith/Tifa. And then for crossovers, I like Aerith/Lightning for example because I like putting good girls and bad girls together because of the style of the relationship.

But pretty much for your answer it's just hawt to girls. O:

I know a lot of women who feel the same, and I personally never saw what was so attractive about lesbians to a lot of guys myself.

This, really. Call it selfishness or narcissism or whatever, but I never found interest in situations where I can't be apart of. Hence why lesbians and whatever aren't really any more attractive to me than the individual attractiveness of the women in it.

Oh, most definitely mon frere. But like I said, that's because mentally, subconsciously I go 'Damn I have a chance to hit dat ass', wheras, with say, two lesbians, I am out of the equation unless they're feeling experimental with men. A woman isn't less attractive just because she's only into women, but two lesbians all up on each other is sure, attractive, but it isn't really, 'DAYUM' or anything.

Yeah, I'm aware of this dynamic, but I sort of 'grew out' of it when I was like 15 or so.

And if nothing else, if women like girly men being homosexual with each other, the opposite surely isn't guys liking manly women being all homosexual with each other. Even if girls insist on gay dudes (or even dudes that aren't gay) going at it, I still wonder why those dudes look like women themselves.

I gotsta say, I'm a fan of teh yaoiz, but I was just having this discussion recently actually. I was bitching to a friend about how much I hated the fact that a lot of the yaoi manga out there have men who are depicted as taking on the more feminine role, the innocent 'uke' who rejects the seme's advances despite how much he obviously wants it.

It pisses me off. If I wanted to see a guy character to act like a girl, I'd go and read a shoujo manga. I read yaoi because I expect it to be between two guys (there are other factors here as well). That's not to say they have to be spilling over with testosterone...

Anyway, for me, the male/male pairing has always been something that was frowned upon in society. It's generally seen as a bad or unnatural thing, forbidden, wrong and that's what makes it so exciting. Heterosexual relationships to me are just kind of blah, uninspiring. The girls are so whiny and girly and helpless, they act like such martyrs. Or maybe they're the exact opposite: crazy psycho sex fiends.

I dunno. It's hard to explain, yet I still prefer yaoi over het any day.

I'm not exactly a yaoi fangirl, and I'm not lying when I say this. I say this because I totally think yuri (girl-on-girl) is hotter in many ways. Guy-on-guy is interesting, but I'll never really experience it since I'm a girl, so...yeah... Yuri ftw.

The seme (attacker) and uke (receiver) factors are pretty funny too. Sephy/Cloud and Zack/Cloud fit the parts well, actually. Especially the former.

I like the milder gay stuff like shonen-ai (boy love) that doesn't include much sex. It's entertaining, and, I don't know, the jokes and situations about it are really funny. Shojo-ai (girl love) isn't all that entertaining though... I dunno. I want hot sex for girls and cute love for guys. Call me unusual.

TBH girl and girl is more hot than guy and guy. Guy on guy is sweaty and hairy and meaty and ew.
