What makes this any different than releasing it as DLC only?

Look at the fucking beauty of that Xenomorph crawling out of the vent. I literally don't remember the last Alien-related property that showed a scene with a Xenomorph that made me more impressed than that. Also, the thick drool and exhaling is just - Holy shit.

I tried it at EGX, not a fan of survival horror especially if they involve aliens. I started off in my quarters and the objective was to get to another part of the ship without getting seen by the alien. First try got killed about 15 seconds after I left my quarters, second try just stayed in and hid in a locker. Music started getting more ominous and louder every second I was in there so I put the controller down and fucked off the booth. I did get a Dark Horse Prequel Comic while I was in line.

Soooooo… the PS4 version let's you enable head tracking via the camera to look around corners, and also allows you to enable it to track to noise levels in your room to allow things in the game to react to them.

I do not have a camera, but these seem terrifying and amazing. Also, I have yet to encounter any other living thing on the station and I am already nervous as all fuck. The Alien vibe in this is SO intense.

Do yourselves a favor and watch Alien before starting the game. It will make everything about a billion times more terrifying.

I love the whole Alien franchise and if ever a game would make me pick up a controller, this would be it. In reality though I'd probably prefer someone else to pick up the controller and I'll discuss the toenail clippers while slurping my tea
