Ive seen nothing but good reviews at work about this, im off to participate in a live demo on the 14th for it in edinburgh so hopefully the game will live up to the hype.
Im more impressed at the art for Ivy, bane, scarecrow and harley though.
It looks epic!

I've heard from some people playing one of the earlier demos that the fighting looks impressive, but in fairly simply to pull off. like press button to counter, press to take them down.

It's not that, simple, you can attack like you would in any other brawler, but if you time it properly you can counter an attack. But that's not something you can do without proper timing.

Not to mention when you have several people attacking you all at once, and you have to break out of a combo to counter. Then throw in enemies with guns and knives.

It can be pretty difficult. It's easier on the first levels of the challenge rooms, which is the only thing most folks have gotten to play.

Sometimes, but he's come into direct conflict several times himself.

Even so, it really is unlikely, with the Joker being billed as the big bad of the game.

Stealing some details from the faq at Eidos' site.

There will be a "Batman Arkham Asylum Batcave Outpost Apartment". Apparently, this will be only for PlayStation Home. It will contain items such as the Batsuit, Batmobile, and Batwing, along with various Bat-gadgets. This content on PlayStation Home will be free.

As confirmed by Sefton Hill of Rocksteady, the Joker will only be playable on the PS3 and will not be playable on the 360 at anytime in the future. It is a permanent PS3-only exclusive. This is due to an exclusive deal that Sony has for the video game

• The game will be roughly 12 - 15 hours in length.
• There will be free-roaming after things are finished and there will also be no respawning of enemies after you've beaten them. After the game is finished, all power-ups and whatnot will not carry over to a new game (no New Game+).
