If the person hasn't logged in in 4 years I don't have a problem with emailing them with the info, then changing it. Or giving a notification that it's going to happen if they don't log in a couple of days, or something to that effect.

Would like to formally apologise on behalf of all staff for not being quicker to the punch on these name changes, which literally take us about 30 seconds in total and it is just sheer laziness on everyone's part. So I am genuinely sorry <3

I would like to apologise even further for me personally, who is perhaps worse because I'm too lazy to even click on or notice this thread when it's updated and automatically assume someone else is taking care of it

Don't be afraid to post in here to bump it up and remind people if it's been a while, and I'll try to be more vigilant in future.

EDIT: Looking back, Joe as a freshman mod has been taking care of the name changes for a bit so blame him for first making us complacent that he'll do it and secondly for going to Japan

Not being able to log in would have been a nice clue, I've just been staring at my screen wondering why it's telling me I've already thanked a post for a while.
