Maybe they didn't wanna use "Captain America" because America isn't really all that popular these days what with the spying on everyone and wiretapping our chancellor's phone.

I know some countries had that option for the first one and only called it The First Avenger.

I think Season 1 will be a prelude to this and Season 2 may be during Ultron's events or after the event. The series may have ties to the film by way of Skye's parents, the centipede organization and Coulson's mysterious recovery. Probably all the factors that will link up to TWS.
