Yar, five shiny stars is for a specific kind of staff, but regular stars are for members. Each X posts you go up a member level (from newbie to senior member or something) and get an extra star.

And a hundred posts are made easily, :monster:. I'm more inclined to do one star per 500 posts or something. Or one for 100, two for 500, three for 1000, four for 2500, and five for 5000+. But then again, that's a bit extreme, there weren't as much 5000+ posts people back on 'cf.

Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays, all! :monster:

I like snow and everything, but it kinda sucks when you can't drive, and have to walk to the mall to do Christmas shopping. I slipped and fell on ice, not my knees and elbows are all bruised.

Do the lot in the US still make a big fuss of saying 'happy holidays' or 'festive greetings' instead of 'merry christmas'?

I tried only saying Merry Christmas if a customer said it to me. I can understand if you don't celebrate Christmas you'd prefer Season's Grettings or Happy Holidays... *shrugs*

I just got a working projector from my parents for Christmas, since my old one was unreliable at best, and the bulb finally died a couple months back. It works even better than my previous one, so now I'm able to play games / watch movies on my wall at ~120" It displays up to 720p. It's an older, and if you have somewhere to use one, it's well worth it, (especially for not costing me anything), though you can usually find older projectors for a fairly decent price. It can also function as a computer monitor if I care to use it as one. :monster:

Sure you can, there's TV-in cards and whatnot. And then there's more and more TV channels also broadcasting their stuff on the internets, and/or putting their programs online once they've aired. And there's regular DVD's and whatnot.

lol my Vaio's always had the cable tuner, but it looks like shit. But since my T.V. has a VGA imput, I think I got the best of both worlds :elmo:. <--- Seriously, add it in.
