Oh, so cool. I'm interested! How about instead of a set time limit to finish the game, every week or so we set up a certain point in the game everyone has to reach until we finish? This way, no one really has to rush to catch up. And it'll really feel like playing it at the same time!

Trine + Bolt 3 screws up Carry Armour bad ? Oh my gosh, I feel so dumb. I used to struggle on that boss for months almost every single playthrough. xD I hated, loathed Reno for years because of it. Though I used to think it was romantic that he would sometimes hold Cloud and Tifa both at once. <3

A race to finish FF VII the fastest sounds like a fun idea !

Was Carry Armor really that hard for people? I seem to recall no problems with him, bit of a dick when he steals your party members for a bit, but it was more an annoyance than a hinderance.

To me the true game breaker is Aqualung and Trine. My gameplay pretty much consists of spamming these throughuot disc 1 and 2. =/ BOOOOORIIIING.

Nah, I just use physical attacks and Limit Breaks. The only other skills I ever use are BG, MH, WW, and SOMETIMES Regen.

for learning Limit Breaks, nothing is quite as good in Disc 1 as going to the Wutai area and manipulating those thunder bird things into using their lightning attack; induce Fury status and you're good to go

Although finding Movers in the Northern Cave was best of all, whooooo

I'm pretty sure that learning Beta and then level grinding to level 30 in Junon against Slaloms and Death Machines before you reach Cosmo Canyon on Disc 1 is the real way to break the game. Then proceeding to learn Aqualung in the Gold Saucer desert, for varieties sake. Between those two enemy skills you can pretty much shit on everything all the way up into the middle of Disc 2.

Or as I discovered today, the whole revisiting Midgar section takes an hour tops (including exploring the Shinra building again to get all the goodies there) if you manage to get Cloud's Ultimate Weapon (and Omnislash) in the time between defeating Diamond and then parachuting your ass into the city.
