That's fine, but still something less obtrusive than white would probably make the image look a lot better. There's just so much contrast between the background and the foreground, which ends up being rather distracting.
Just got done penciling this about 30 mintues ago and did a bit of touch up work in photoshop, it's still dirty in a few less than noticeable places, but it's presentable.
I might slap some color on top of it sometime if I feel like it. Anyway, been too long since an update.
Not like I'm the most educated critic of art on the forums, but I think that's probably the best looking piece of Dacon's I've seen, even just in black and white.
