Bad news everyone. I can't get the time off work surrounding DessieCon. I tried to get the Friday and Monday off, but there are too many people already off.

I really can't just catch the train up on the Sat and back on the Sun, because:

1) for it to be worth anything, I'd have to catch the rush hour train up, which will double the cost of the seat, which I can't afford.

2) it takes me a while to begin to feel comfy around people. If it was just Sat/Sun with you guys, I'd just be starting to come out of my shell once it got to time to leave (I'm usually kuudere IRL, although I'm tsundere around some people, and once I was straight dere - edging yandere - around one particular girl <3).

I've been told, however, I can have the time around the following weekend off. So, I would miss DessieCon, but still be able to meet up with at least Adri and Bex (and poss. Alex).

What does everyone think I should do?

OK, cheers. The last time I looked in on them, they were playing Go Fish (as that is the most complex card game I know the rules for... XD).

Given that its myself and Bex that live in Leeds full time, its pretty much a guarantee that you'll meet both of us (and ofc Adri :awesome)

What dates are the Saturday and Sunday that you will be able to come up on?

It would be Saturday the 25th and Sunday the 26th (September). But, I'd be training up on the 24th and back the 27th (it takes three hours to Birmingham or London, so I'm counting on at least four hours to Leeds).
