^Good. They have to, with the RMAH coming out soon.

Also related to that: Diablo 3 item duplication bug hotfixed, Asian servers offline for a time. Basically: Join a public game, create an item with blacksmithing, give the item to friend, leave game, ?????; materials get refunded. Free items. Not exactly duplicating, but still.

Also, authenticator is required when trading in the RMAH. Makes sense.

Murphy's Law is in full effect for this game and I don't see it getting any better once the RMAH comes around. :monster:

Patch 1.0.2c

If the authentication service is busy, the login checkbox will now wait at "Authenticating Credentials" until a player's login attempt can be processed. As a result, players should no longer encounter Error 37 when logging in.

WHAT? THEY RUINED THE GAME'S EXPERIENCE! RUINED!

Also, they're bringing the RMAH online, you are now presented with a new terms page for the RMAH. One interesting bit - perhaps - is that it's explicitly stated that payments for items (and payments received) come and go to Blizzard, not to the buying / selling party. This made me think: Blizzard could just as well be tweaking the prices of items and taking a few cents off the value for themselves, i.e. making items a bit more expensive than the seller puts them on for, :monster:. This'll probably be found out soon enough though, if true.

LOL so now they've just replaced the error 37 timeout and automated the "constantly clicking the login button until the servers come back online" thing that most players are inclined to do anyway

all my fucking lulz
