Tifa plays kinda plain but it could just be the player. Vaan's exmode attack is fucking awesome though.

Tifa's character model and fighting style look plain/mediocre as hell. Couple that with the fact that she has no hips and Rachel Leigh I fuck people for drugs Cook will voice her again and all my interest is lost.

And, for one, I'm not sure how much that video really showcased Tifa's fighting style. The only hits she got were in the 'slow motion' bits. Everything else missed from rather far away. They said she's a feint fighter right? We didn't really get a chance to see it in that video. I am disappointed that that's all her EX Burst consists of, not any of her actual moves. Everyone's moves have been shortened of course, but she could do a couple moves at least, not just fly through him a couple times.
And did she ever have hips?

I'm holding out that the AI or player is just really mediocre, but yeah, not nearly as interesting as I hoped she would be, especially considering how flashy Vaan was.
Character model I don't mind so much because it's PSP graphics. Just wish her ex-move looked a lot more, well, fun.

I have resigned to the fact that I will be perpetually late, always doomed to repost a repost. I'll just have to accept this sad state of affairs >___>

In all of the artwork, and cutscenes for the original game she did.
Now she looks like a DOA girl proportion wise. Bounces like one too.

You're right that her lego-form certainly walked like she had hips (her walk always made me laugh), but from the beginning Aerith alway had the hips and Tifa had the boobs.

I guess you're pretty blind then. She obv has them in both artworks.
Lol, Aerith has no hips at all in the compilation. So no.

And she absolutely does when she walks away at the end of AC which I can't seem to find a screen of at the moment but its on youtube. She's always got more than Tifa at least.
My point is that Tifa never had a whole lot going on back there and so the fact that she doesn't in Dissidia shouldn't be a huge shocker.

Tifa's hips have nothing on Aerith, they just look more pronounced to some before her torso is "wider" for reasons that need not be mentioned

Overlooking asinine and pointless comparisons between two characters people like to obsess over, my point is she originally had an hourglass type figure, while she had more pronounced breasts, she still had some balance.
I don't see that in her her Dissidia render. It's not that important in the grand scheme of things, but it's an irk of mine and one I will continue to have.

Three things
1 Final Fantasy VII is my favorite FF followed shortly by IV and IX. I played it back in 2008
2 Tifa is hot, and has a great fighting style in this game, but I'm not gawking over Tifa's looks, she's much better known for being a good character and ass kicker. Don't see why people are disappointed
3 Keeping in mind VII is my favorite, I hate hate hate hate hate Aerith. She's a bland ass white mage, with no good stats or abilities outside her limits, dies on the first disc, and I didn't care because she was bland and undeveloped. I don't mind her contribution to the story, but Cloud should be moping for her 2-3 years later given how he barely knew her, but knew Tifa his whole life.
