Apparently, Troughton liked Jelly Babies as much as the Fourth Doctor and was trying to feed some to Jon Pertwee. Pertwee snapped back, "No, put those away! He's trying to sabotage my performance by giving me a Jelly Baby." Richard Hurndall (who had replaced the late William Hartnell for this episode) is getting a kick out of it, as well as the crew behind the camera.
