I've spent two nights trying to download this update and I'm still downloading it now this morning (although I'm stupidly close to finishing it). I refuse to let my console stay on overnight because I don't want my electric bills to be affected. It's weird how it stays 5 hours to go when it's less than 1GB. Pretty sure my internet connection was playing up last night because everything was running slow (even when I paused the download).

It has to be tonight I play, otherwise I'm going to be extremely disappointed.

Your PS4 shouldn't be using that much power when it's just downloading something (max power usage is at max gaming), and didn't the PS4 have 'off' / background downloading anyway? You'd still end up using the power anyway,

Yeah, but I have multiple plug sockets in the same power lead and I'd rather not go into figuring out which one is which. But it's all fine now, the game just finally finalised the update a few moments ago.

Better try to start it up right away, make sure there's no more waiting during the stream.

Buy a good distributor socket thing - or five. Best investment ever. Actually I should get another one for my PC, but they don't actually come in more sockets than the one I already have. I should maybe do some DIY about it, create an Ultimate Power Strip of the Beyondness. May be a fire hazard.

I enjoyed what little I've played so far. I'm so used to the Skyrim controls that it threw me off for a while, but I eventually got into the swing of things. The connection was pretty good, the framerate only dropped once or twice. Streaming it was a pretty smooth experience.

I did get thrown into a voice chat channel, though. Whether that was accidental on my part or on purpose by the game, I didn't like it. It was probably the surprise of hearing other voices that made me jump. Shan't be doing it again, unless I'm with friends.

^^The voice chat is their compromise for not having the text chat that the PC version has (which that version really needs and benefits from). Otherwise it might as well be a single-player game that multiple people play together...

Oh man, I just realized all the non-PC people can't use add-ons....

I suppose I can see it that way. I bet they might have it in a future update. I don't see why they couldn't have incorporated it, as it works fine in the likes of FFXIV.

Go figure, TESO doesn't even have the shitloads of useless crap one can obsessive-compulsively nick from every house to scrounge enough monies together to buy gear that becomes useless once hitting level 10 or once finding out a trick to make silly amounts of money, .

^^ESO has tones of useless crap lying around, it's just not in people's houses... Just go to the NPC market and steal all the equipment out on the vendor's tables. They almost always have most weapon and armor types out. Even better, the weapons and armor scale to your level so you make more money fencing stuff as you level up. Go into and out of the outlaw's refuge (where you fence your stuff) and it'll all respawn! This will also allow you to get gear for free, although enemies will usually drop more gear with traits/enchants on them... but seriously, this is how I equiped myself at until Lvl 20 at least. By then I had most traits researched and started wearing quest rewards/boss drops.

Just bought it (the Morrowind Digital package from Steam) and am installing it now. Going to set up a regular game with my good friend who is moving to the States to become a high-falutin doctor. Seems like I can have 8 characters though. Anyone else wanna start a game with me?

I've been playing for nearly six months now and I gotta say I love this game. I'm dipping my toes into the economy racket, found this article super helpful!
