Yeah that's pretty awesome, especially with Spyro the Dragon chilling out there as well. Throw Final Fantasy VIII, Threads of Fate and the PSX Demo Disk there and you'd have my first collection of PSOne titles.

If you look without thinking, this artwork could easily be mistaken as an official one by Tetsuya Nomura. I really like how the artist was able to mimic Nomura's "Dissidia" art style via the line work and coloring.

The FF9 piece you shared is amazing. It reminds me of one of my favorite Wild Arms pieces, albeit I think this is an official piece, not fan art.
