Other than @Knights of the Round , no one has said anything remotely to that effect -- but I imagine that anything we're presented with will be enjoyed by all regardless.

Pretty sure a mass extinction of snails just occurred. That's how strong the salt is.
TBH that's the sort of thing that I think is fine for an after-launch feature. (Especially because I'm sure the Internet would be stuffed with a tons more of pictures from the earlier received copies otherwise). Silver linings to everything! Also – Now if/when it's added, you'll have an excuse to replay everything!

At first I thought doing Europe early was justified, but the more I've thought about it the stupider it seems. My entire state is in full lockdown, as are many others. Is that not a comparable situation to Europe? The whole world is getting rocked right now. They should have just released early everywhere. Now they've got thousands of impatient, angry fans losing their minds all over the internet and getting the game spoiled for them by assholes out to get youtube or twitch clicks. Square screwed this release up bad. Not that I can blame them, this was all completely unprecedented, but I feel they've handled this foolishly. I'm disappointed in them.
