I had a feeling that they might kill of Noel in the end, or at least one of the endings if they make good with the multiple endings, but if they show it in the trailer, it probably means that they won't. They wouldn't spoil it in a trailer, so there goes that.

Damn.

I actually don't hate Noel. I just don't care about him either way.

Apathy is a bigger insult. Hopefully he plays better than he is portrayed.

^^^This comment so much. Its like I don't hate him (Besides the fact that its completely stupid to hate a character xD)...I just find him irrelevant..even though he's a big part of this story. I wouldn't care about him the same way I was going to scream if something happened to Snow....ok there I said it I DO care about him as a character (Troy Baker = Totally worth it ) but about Noel...bleh. I don't really mind whatever they do with him...the same goes to Kaias....

That and let's face it, we spent and entire game with him going SERAH, SERAH I'LL SAVE YOU SERAH (HERO) SERAH and if he doesn't actually get with Serah I'll be seriously pissed. Come'on guys, if I had to endure it, at least let him win something.

Also there's something about even if you didn't really like the characters the first time around, there's still something that makes you want to see them in the sequel. I don't know why.

Someone on gamefaqs said it best, I don't hate it that Serah and Noel are the main characters. I understand it on some level. It's the idea that Lightning *(and the rest of the cast) won't be playable that pisses me off.

I don't know if you'll be able to play as any of the other (first game) cast, but you will be able to play as Lightning.

I don't know if I like Noel after watching the trailers, and Snow's character seems improved, though the battle system.... ehhhh.... what's wrong with having a team of party members ? >: The monster idea isn't that exciting, and it's been done before by the Tales series.

SE go back to the party members, because the monster idea is just... not making me jump out to buy the game any time soon. Also why does SE show potential deaths in every FF trailer now ? What happened to the days where it was a huge surprise ? Are they trying for another ''Aerith'' moment ? Because trying to aim for a ''Aerith'' moment every FF13 trailer isn't going to work, it just takes the impact away, and plus FF characters have been dieing long before Aerith, but when they died, it was a total shock, just like you just lost a friend in RL, rl life death is shocking, unpredictable and unexpected, and showing potential deaths in a trailer, just kills it.

yeeeaah. I kind of agree with this. Even Sazh's moment in FFXIII was like... uuuh ok. I mean, I get the emotion behind it and all but it really didn't have the impact on me that it probably was intended to have.

And I think what happens now is that there's too much information. They don't know when to stop, or which information to give and what to hold back. I mean, very soon I'm going to stop following information on this game because I don't want to be spoiled. Cause it ruins the game if they show an ending scene in the trailer. It's less impactful if you've seen it already, even if it was out of context.

Show us pictures of Snow & Hope. Let us hear Hope's new voice. Keep the image of Noel getting stabbed out of it. Cause you just lost your shock value. And shock value is important in terms of creating a memorable moment. And the more memorable moments a game has, the better it will be regarded.
