As for first impressions, whoa my fuckin god... that fight was EPIC!!! I got MAJOR chills in the entire last fight (watched some parts on the youtube videos)! That Marlene and Cloud seen was the most ABSOLUTE cutest thing I have EVER seen on the goddamn planet, eeeeee!!! SO arsumz, but I cant comment anymore til I see it in full-form in english XD. I don't hate the japanese version or anything, I just prefer the english (specially since it has no english subbs yet).

Do you mean the wolf Cloud wears or the wolf that constantly follows him around? The wolf seen constantly following Cloud, I thought, represented Zack's spirit and how he is always watching over him. I have also heard it is a representation of Cloud's guilt, which kind of makes sense because it is always seen in the scenes where Aerith and Zack were killed and in the church where Tifa was found after he fainted.
I should ask my mom, but I'm pretty sure my voice was all manly and whatnot when I was 14-16 years old,
Well, considering I'm not a guy I wouldn't know. It's just that his voice at that time didn't match what I thought Cloud's personality would be. But then again, after reading Cloud's bio, it says he was a little more mature than his peers back in Nibelheim, so I guess it matches, in a way.

I like the idea of the wolf representing Cloud's guilt, but if it does, I only think that it really applies to the physical (spiritual?) wolf that you see throughout the movie.
As for the Cloudy-wolf pendant thing, I don't think it's the same, mostly because it's everywhere.
Besides it being on Cloud's shoulder, it's on his phone, on his earrings... Tifa and Barret both wear Cloudy wolf rings, and Denzel's got a ring on a chain around his neck. I find myself doubting that Cloud's just handing out all these rings like "Here, this reminds me of why I hate myself, so I think you should have it."

Eh, I did, and I got the gist of it. The old story / conversations are largely in place, and I read up on spoilers before watching the movie, so I kinda know what the new scenes are about, lol
.As for it being disappointing, I didn't think so. I probably had my expectations set properly,

I was pleasantly surprised by the remake. I enjoyed the new scenes, had fun picking out the minor (lighting/angle) differences in familiar scenes and thought that the new additions made the story more plausible and touching. There was a definitive family message in this that was only skimmed before.

Just finished watching it. I was kinda expecting more tbh... im not disappointed, but i was just expecting the scenes to look different or something, different angles.
But anyway, it was good. The overall film felt less Cloud-centric, which was good. I just wished there was more Avalanche.
I liked what they did with geostigma. It gave more of a sense of the despair it causes, rather than it just being an illness

Just watched it and was pretty blown away by it, it was even better than I expected and I had pretty high expectations. It's nice to see that they actually had a clear plot in this one and not just random shit glued together that was supposed to look pretty good.
Don't even know where to start. They really fleshed out the visual detail to perfection and filled in plotholes that were once abundant (even tho I still have problems with some scenes). The addition of blood, wounds, dirt etc. really makes a difference, and I though they should‘ve added more in some parts (not being sadistic or anything).
This version actually creates character you care about (from a perspective of a casual viewer) and some scenes particularly provoke emotion; people dying from geostigma, Denzel finding Cloud, and Cloud‘s exchange with Marlene. And action wise, there are bits and pieces that make past action sequences either work better or just create a much bigger impact; Cloud saving Tifa and Denzel and the bridge chase hold you on the edge of your seat (worked for me anyway).
Sephiroth... this guy was just made even more menacing then he ever was, if that‘s even possible, but damn, it IS! That distinctive sound of his masamune will make you uneasy every time you hear it, it‘s just feels so threatening when you see Seph shishkebabing Cloud with it, blood splashing everywhere, body parts getting pierced, damn!
And, I loved that they added that Nebelheim theme to the scene were Cloud passes out next to Tifa, it just took me back to when I first watched Last Order; I had some dark nostalgia from watching that. Wish I had a Blue-Ray player to buy it, but regardless, it's a must watch for a Final Fantasy, anime fan.

Whoa my fuckin god I FINALLY saw Advent Children Complete YAY!!! Alright, First Impressions, let's see...
I really have to say, as much as I loved the Original "Advent Children", "Advent Children: Complete" just fuckin BLEW ME AWAY O.O! The entirety of the new revamped version really further explained things and fleshed out more parts left short in the original! I'm just BEYOND impressed with the way all the new footage blended right into the old parts so flawlessly! The greater detail, realistic effects and deeper story-mood only adds to it and it has a far stronger effect on the viewer as well!
I really enjoyed how they actually developed Denzel's character so well and even showed flashbacks of his story and how he met Cloud! I love how sweet it was of Cloud to hold his hand to calm him, I just went all "awww!!!" XD. It was even better too cuz Denzel even got some action-parts as well and it only seems to reveal that he seems to look up to our favorite chocobo-head too LOL! I always liked Denzel before, but now in ACC, he has a far stronger impression on me and he's just so cute!
I noticed the English voice acting parts were kept in the old footage, but Steve Burton as Cloud never EVER ceases to amaze me. I just loved ALL of his new lines and he just felt so much more Cloud and further showed his character even more! For me, Steve did a wonderful job filling in Cloud's new lines and I really gotta say, even if "Crisis Core" made the Original AC a bit mediocre, for some bizarre reason, his new lines only seemed to give more feeling to his older lines, and that goes for all of the characters. Cloud in the last battle was just amazing. I love how realistic it got with him and the fact that he not only made a complete, round-a-bout comeback, but further kicked Sephiroth's ASS hard too! I LOVE how his Omnislash now has 13th strikes now! So damn arsumz! I also thought it was real funny when Cloud slammed the door on Reno at the Healen Lodge LMAO!
Sephiroth, whoa man, I was just really impressed beyond words. George Newbern really pulled off those new lines of his and fuck, he gave me the goddamn chills O.O I swear the hair on the back of my neck just stood straight up when I heard him speak and as I said before, his new lines bizarrely seemed to make his older ones have more of a overbearing and striking feeling that only adds to that creepy demeanor that is so obviously there now ._. yeesh. That last battle really showed how fuckin brutal he can be and he really beat the living shit out of Cloud! Still, though, as goddamn badass as he was, I just really love that literal "WTF!?!" moment he had HAHAHA! I laughed so hard when I saw that XD. I give George more points for making Sephy sound like he was actually getting hurt too, real arsumz! Btw, I LOVE that ringing sound the Masamune makes! Scared the shit out of me when I heard that sound right when he came around the corner at Cloud when he slashed at the pillar while in the building XD.
The flashbacks, I really loved. It was awesome to see more Zack and it fleshed out more of what he means to Cloud as a very close and best friend and the flashes of Aerith's death and Zack's battle only gave more incentive for Cloud to save Tifa and Denzel! I was sad that there was no new Aerith scenes, but I was glad that they kept the back-to-back-Forgotten-City scene in it and it is one of my favorite parts.
The Geostigma was just horrendous and really made you feel so bad for all those people too >_<. I felt so upset when they treated Moogle Girl that way and when I saw her drop tears, poor thing. I kind of wish they had given her a name though. Reno and Rude had some great new stuff and I just found the helicopter scene so funny XD. I love how Rude got more lines, as well as Rufus and Reno and Yazoo sounded like a freakin kamikaze nutball o.o and then looks like a friggin piranha too LOLz. OH, I can't forget that ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE Marlene and Cloud scene, I was just so completely gaga over it! Steve Burton really made his best performance in that scene and Marlene's impression of Barret was just so cute, I died XD. Lastly, Tifa finally got to kick some more ass, yay!
Overall, I just fuckin love this movie to bits and it brought back some awesome nostalgia of both, the Original FFVII game AND the Original AC, only this time it was 9000 times better!!! One last thing, I just love how they made the music fit right with everything and that Nibelheim Theme too! The only thing that bugged me though was that Sephy's theme in the last battle sounded a little odd O.o like they kind of overlayed the Reunion Orchestra version with parts of the AC Version of his theme, idk, maybe it was just me. Newayz, I fuckin LOVE this movie to goddamn death!!!

When the heck did the U.S. get it? I bought the original limited and the "special" limited edition of AC (the one that came with the post cards, script, and a few of the OtWtaS Episodes), and it didn't have Last Order on it.
