curséd, guess the width thingy does interfere. It works fine on Chrome, so I didn't notice

It's probably the width settings - the post bit thingy was set to a width of 15% initially, I upped it to 17% and it looked good enough, but didn't see any other values that might've caused an overflow. I'll see if I can fixx it wicba.
Also, it should be possible to just use the default skin as well, should be somewhere in the user settings thingy somewhere~ish-like, for those that don't like this 'un.

I don't know if it's the same with anyone, but it looks like to me that everyone's posts are appearing in the post box, but sort of under where the avatar is. It's not really a big deal but it seems like there's alot of wasted space? Or something.

Yeah, the whole gap between the start of the post and the actual text is really weird
xD At first I thought that the font color hadn't been changed before I realized the posts have a real downward shift to them.
Other then that though, it's looking great!

It looks like now when I post the box is white with black text... shouldn't say post... typing a post is what I mean. Earlier today the textbox was the dark green with black text. Now it's white so I can read what I'm typing.

Ya, the settings are in Profile --> Look and Layout. I'm going back to the old style, not that I don't like this one (because I think it looks great for something you just tried for the first time), but because my screen resolution is very big so the smaller width looks really squished to me.

Yeah, it's looking pretty good so far, though I'm suffering from the gap at the top of posts whilst at work (running on IE). I'm sure we can get everything ironed out with the appearance soon though.
Also - is it just me, or do all posts redirect to the subforum, and not the thread now?

@X, what do you mean exactly? If it's you being forwarded to the section instead of back to the thread, that's a setting somewhere. I know you can set that in your own preferences, perhaps it's a setting that can be set globally. I'll go look.
Edit: Also, would anyone really mind if I set the forum's width back to the 100% size? There's a few issues (post spacing, thread title / user title width) directly relating to me reducing the width of the forum thingy.
I'm thinking the banner at the top of the page should probably get redone properly for the forums, in a way that it'll seem to extend for the full width of the forum whilst only taking up the first half or something of the screen. I'm sure some of you'll know what I'm talking about. Would be quite grateful if there's anyone with sufficient graphics skillz who'd cook it up for me, whether we'll be going back to full width or not.

The two threads on the layout should really be merged imho,.
I should also work on a todo list of sorts, there's a dozen relatively small issues that all need to be fixxed.
@ Balthea, using Internets Exploder? Might be that it doesn't properly reflect the color preferences I set, I'll look into it wicba.

It was actually when I was using Chrome. I figured out it was when I was clicking to quote a post (dark green), but not when I was starting a fresh one (white).

I just tried to merge the two threads on the layout as Yop suggested, and it asks for the ID of the target topic to merge with. I posted the link and and name of the other thread, and neither worked. What the hell is the Topic ID?

It looks to be giving space for the Avatar on the side. Collision / sizing issue perhaps?
EDIT: it appears so. The Avatar seems to be too close to the text. I added lines showing the edge of the text bar & the edge of the Avatar. Sorry about the shit quality of the MS Paint throw together.
If you can't tell from this, just press Ctrl + A, and you'll see that there's a selectable space on the right side of everyone's Avatar that goes too far over, and that's what's pushing the text down below all the Avy info and causing the gaps.

That gap is aligning with the "avatar/name" content. Just need to create a sub-par table to push it away, that's all, unfortunately I have no experience with SMF coding, PHPbb I do know quite the bit.
