So we've got ourselves a Melisandre and Stannis
's: *at people doing it doggy style* aren't those two siblings?//me: yeah I think they are.//s: oh.'
“I hope it lasts for 20 years,” says HBO programming president Michael Lombardo of the show. “I promise you we won’t stop it before it’s ready to stop … There’s a great relationship fans have with the show and we appreciate that. We’ve never seen people get so excited about casting [decisions].”
I'M TELLING MOTHER!
I hear about this show all the fucking time. But I never read the series. Should I still watch it?
Karl Davies cast as Alton Lannister. This is not a character that exists in the books, but it is being speculated that he will be a replacement for Ser Cleos Frey, with his father becoming a Lannister and his mother becoming a Frey.

The only of these that have been cast, as far as I know, are Stannis and Davos. Brienne, Melisandre, Margaery, and what appears to be Cleos Frey under a name change have been cast as well, and it is possible that Asha Greyjoy (who will also be receiving a name change) has been cast as well, but I haven't seen official confirmation of this. According to Wikipedia the confirmed roles are:So. Anyone have a link to a recap of all the new characters they've casted? I'm lazy .
Relevant would be: Stannis, Davos, You-know-nothing-Jon-Snow Ygritte, Vargo 'Thappireth' Hoat, and a bunch of others I've already forgotten about already .
Also, with the scene (wildlings, the Wall, etc) I just re-read again, they could do with a LotR-like budget and CG crew, I mean, fuck. That's movie material right there.
Gwendoline Christie as the female warrior Brienne of Tarth,[37] Liam Cunningham as the former smuggler Ser Davos Seaworth,[38] Oliver Ford Davies as Maester Cressen,[39] Stephen Dillane as would-be king and Robert's brother, Stannis Baratheon,[40] Natalie Dormer as Lady Margaery Tyrell, betrothed of Renly Baratheon,[41] and Carice van Houten as Melisandre of Asshai.
